Volunteers are at the heart of ChainFree Knoxville and they help us improve the lives of chained dogs!  The primary way CFK volunteers help is with fence builds.  Builds are typically on a Saturday morning but occasionally on a Sunday or weekday.  They take 2 -3 hours and volunteers help by putting up the fence panels and the shade canopy and securing chicken wire around the bottom.  Volunteering with CFK is fun and easy and no special skills are needed – just a love for dogs!  It is amazing to witness the immediate change in the dogs when they are let into their enclosure for the first time!

We also need volunteers from time to time to help with events, fence repairs or transporting large items (like doghouses or wheat straw) to build sites.

If interested in volunteering, please send us a message on the Contact Us page.
